Sonshine Kingdom – The Dramatic Play Room

Sonshine Kingdom, or the dramatic play room, is filled with items to stimulate your child’s imagination. Playing in Sonshine Kingdom allows your child to use his/her boundless creativity to go grocery shopping, cook dinner, play doctor, put on a puppet show, take care of a baby doll, fix items with various tools, and so much more.  In this safe environment, children are able to mimic the things they see adults doing every day.  In doing so, they gain a better understanding of the world around them and how things work. When participating in dramatic play, children can also develop stronger emotional and social skills as they interact with their peers.
